Bridging the gap

There’s growing interest in examining the harmful effects of income inequality — at the level of communities right up to the level of nations. Hundreds of studies now provide powerful support for the notion that the greater the income inequality is across a group of people, the worse the outcomes are for everyone for any number of health and social factors. But let’s change the question slightly — what would Hamilton be like if we were all equal. What would Hamilton be like if we were all the same.
